The words Rowe Counseling Services serve as the logo of the company. The letter "o" in Rowe is a light blue, circular drawing of a sun in the sky above a bridge going over the water.

Frequently Asked Questions

I'm not struggling with age related issues, will you still see me?

Absolutely! I see clients 18 years and older for a variety of reasons including depression, anxiety, substance use, psychosis, bipolar/mania, trauma, family conflict, ADHD, and stress.

Will you see me without my aging family members if I'm looking for support?

Yes! Caregiver stress affected over 50 million Americans in 2020. Caregivers need as much support as anyone else. Counseling can help you cope with your stress so you can be a better caregiver. After all, you can't pour from an empty cup.

Do you take my insurance?

Most likely, yes! I accept self-pay and most private insurance. Even if you're out of network, I can provide therapy at an affordable price. Call me to verify your benefits at (504) 356-1469.

Do you see clients in an office?

At this time, my services are provided via telehealth only.

What is dementia?

Dementia is a group of symptoms that are found in several diseases including Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Huntington's, and several more. These symptoms affect cognitive functions and can impact daily life. Find more information about dementia in this blog post.

Are you in network with Medicare?

Unfortunately no, but some Medicare plans do offer out-of-network benefits which means I can still see you and keep your costs low!

Are you in network with Medicaid?

Also, no. And Medicaid does not usually offer out-of-network reimbursement for psychotherapy.
